Find the Right Oil for Your Needs
Choose the Right Oil
AAK offers a comprehensive range of rapeseed oils. Thanks to our local supply of rapeseed and our own pressing facilities, we can provide oils made from both conventional rapeseed and specially selected varieties.
The cooler Nordic climate gives Swedish rapeseed oil a naturally higher content of omega-3 fatty acids than rapeseed oils produced in many other parts of Europe. Combined with a gentle refining process and rigorous quality control, this results in an oil with excellent flavour, long shelf life, and a naturally high level of vitamin E.
Whether conventional or high oleic, rapeseed oil contains the lowest level of saturated fat of all common vegetable oils. Its high content of monounsaturated fat, together with its versatility, makes rapeseed oil an outstanding choice for both professional and everyday cooking.
A Sustainable Choice
Swedish rapeseed oil is one of the most sustainable vegetable oils available. A life cycle assessment conducted by RISE demonstrates that Swedish rapeseed oil has a lower environmental impact than other liquid vegetable oils in terms of freshwater use, energy consumption, and climate impact.
At AAK, we are continuously working to reduce our energy and water consumption, minimise waste, and lower greenhouse gas emissions. Today, the majority of the energy used in our production comes from renewable bioenergy.
Premium Oils for Professional Kitchens
Most Rapsona oils are made from Swedish rapeseed, ensuring exceptional quality, clean flavour, and reliable performance. Alongside our cooking oils, we offer a range of premium frying oils developed for demanding professional kitchens.
Our frying oils deliver consistent frying performance, enhance the natural flavour of food, and help prevent flavour transfer between different products. The result is crisp, great-tasting food with excellent quality every time.
If you’re looking to reduce saturated fat without compromising performance, choose Rapsona High Oleic—a trans fat-free frying oil with excellent stability and long frying life.
